If nobody was watching, would you still train the same way?

We'll, why are you training in the first place. For health?

For your family?

For enjoyment?

For your job?

For vanity?

For likes?

For the Gram?

I love this question because it exposes our identity. I lived a big portion of my life believing I had to train a certain way because I was the 'big softy'. It was a part of me. But as I become much more comfortable in my own skin, I don’t feel the need to beat up my body up to maintain a false sense of self.

That's not to say you should never train! Just find something you enjoy. Think, would I still be doing this if nobody was watching?
